The syringes and needles are opened in the presence of the patient.
After use the syringe and needle are crushed immediately in the presence of the patient.
Dr. Badhe’s Pathology Laboratory is registered with the MPCB – Maharashtra Pollution Control Board which lays down guidelines and monitors the proper disposal of Laboratory Waste Material.
Dr. Badhe’s Pathology Laboratory is registered with the Municipal Waste Management Services for disposal of Biohazardous Material. A special van regularly carries away the disposable used materials and other medical waste for Incineration at a central facility. Records are maintained of the same.
Regular INTERNAL QUALITY controls from Prevecal are run and records maintained.
The laboratory is a regular participant of EXTERNAL QUALITY programmes run by Prevecal for biochemical tests and Biorad & Varun lab controls for hematology.
